A Difficult Update From the Makers of Mama Mila Home

We’re writing to share an important update and ask for your support.

From the beginning, Mama Mila Home was created under a joint venture between our small, family-run business Resparkle and Chantel Mila.

We went over and beyond the formal agreement and invested over $200,000 plus more than a year of work building this brand from scratch because we believed in the partnership, our product, and the people who use them.

Unfortunately, that trust has been broken. The partnership has since collapsed due to ongoing disputes. Chantel has denied our contributions, blocked our access to shared assets, and has now threatened to disconnect the domain, despite ongoing customer orders and a warehouse full of inventory that we are contractually entitled to sell.

What’s most upsetting is the way we’re being erased. She now claims full ownership of the brand we co-created, and falsely claims there was no commercial relationship. We are pursuing this through formal legal channels.

To clarify, the formal joint venture was between G&P (Vic) Pty Ltd (Resparkle) and Mama Mila Pty Ltd, the company operated by Chantel Mila. All actions referenced — including disconnection of the domain and restrictions to access — were carried out by the company.
